Dr. Mark Tulumello is a General Dentist at Canyon Dental Centre in North Vancouver
Dr. Mark Tulumello grew up in Welland, Ontario, in the Niagara region. He moved to Hamilton to attend McMaster University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences, spending summers engaged in research at the university. While deeply passionate about science, Dr. Tulumello also inherited a love for the arts from his artist father, cultivating strong interests in drawing, sculpting, and photography.
Recognizing dentistry as the ideal fusion of science and art, Dr. Tulumello pursued his dental education at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry in Winnipeg. He quickly excelled, earning the prestigious Mary Jane Ego Trophy from his graduating class for outstanding achievement in academics, athletics, extracurricular involvement, and high standards in patient care.
After graduating in 2010, Dr. Tulumello relocated to the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, where he has been practicing ever since. Committed to lifelong learning, he has completed over a thousand hours of continuing education, with advanced training in comprehensive rehabilitation, periodontics, implant dentistry, and sedation (oral and IV). He is a long-standing member of the Ocean Dental Oral Implantology Study Club and a graduate of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) Vancouver Maxicourse. Through extensive training and a rigorous examination process, he has earned the distinction of Associate Fellow from the AAID.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Tulumello enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. His passions include hiking, canoeing, camping, and playing soccer, embracing the outdoor lifestyle that British Columbia offers.
