Version 2 of the training series was designed as an update. The operatory for the microscope has been updated, as had the microscope itself. The DVD was professionally filmed and edited. It was 5 years between versions.

Version 2 covers viewing all areas of the mouth with the operating microscope, plus clinical tips for shortening the learning curve. Version 2 shows a split screen and 6 separate procedures (one in each area of the mouth) to show 4 handed dentistry and positioning. This covers the increased use of digital recording technology with the operating microscope emphasizing digital camcorders and SLS cameras.
